Encinitas, CA – Small business owners or those seeking to launch a new business venture are invited to participate in a free workshop on Sept. 24 designed to help entrepreneurs with improving their accounting and financing skills. The City of Encinitas and San Diego Law Library are hosting this second Small Business “102” Workshop of the year on Tuesday, Sept. 24 from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. Accounting, bookkeeping, and finance tips will be provided to help both beginning business owners and experienced professionals.
At the free workshop, attendees will learn about registering their business, applying for loans, balancing books, and preparing their taxes. The program is presented by the City of Encinitas, San Diego Law Library, and the North San Diego Small Business Development Center at MiraCosta College.
In addition, participants will have an opportunity to meet with representatives from the Encinitas Chamber of Commerce, the City’s local Main Street 101 Associations, Motherlode Bookkeeping, and BLOC co-working.
