Encinitas, CA – The City’s administrative offices will be closed for the holidays on Thursday and Friday, November 28th and 29th, as well as Tuesday, December 24th through Wednesday, January 1st.
Per the City’s Municipal Code, no construction activities shall occur on Saturdays, Sundays or any City recognized holiday. During this year’s Christmas holiday break, City Building and Engineering inspectors will be conducting inspections on current, active permits on December 26th, 27th, and 30th.
The public is encouraged to contact the City’s Planning Division at (760) 633-2710 for any requests, services or permits prior to the week of December 23rd before the holiday office closure. During the City’s holiday office closure, the public may contact the Public Works Department at (760) 633-2922 for any concerns or to report an emergency relating to Streets, Wastewater or Water. For life-threatening emergencies, call 911.
Customers can access many of the City’s services online 24/7 using the Customer Self Service (CSS) portal found on the City’s website. Through CSS, you can conduct business with the City from the convenience of your home, office, or mobile device. Registered users have access to a number of online services, such as paying for a permit invoice or checking on the status of a permit or plan.
