Learn Basics of Starting a New Business in Encinitas June 11

Encinitas, CA – Prospective business owners can sometimes find the process of launching a new business to be intimidating. The City of Encinitas and San Diego Law Library are joining forces to explain the basics that every business owner should know before opening or expanding their business. The Small Business 101 Workshop on Tuesday, June 11 from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. is geared towards helping both the beginning business owner and the experienced professional.

Learn from professionals about business registration, permitting, legal aspects of business structures, insurance issues and marketing basics, whether your business has a storefront or is home-based online.

In addition, participants will meet representatives with the Encinitas Chamber of Commerce and local Main Street associations, plus they will learn how these resources can assist with growing their business. City of Encinitas planning, land use, zoning and business registration professionals will also be on hand to guide attendees through the process of setting up a business in Encinitas.

WHO:            City of Encinitas, San Diego Law Library, Coast Law, Chocheles Consulting, and representatives from Encinitas 101, Cardiff 101 and Leucadia 101 Main Street organizations, Encinitas Chamber of Commerce, BLOC and the North San Diego Small Business Development Center   

WHEN:         Tuesday, June 11, 2019 from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. with an additional hour of networking from 4:00 – 5:00 p.m.
