City of Encinitas to Co-Host Bike to Work Day Pit Stop Along Newly Opened Cardiff Coastal Rail Trail on May 16

Encinitas, CA – Planning on participating in San Diego County’s Bike to Work Day on Thursday, May 16? Stop by the City of Encinitas pit stop along the newly opened Cardiff Coastal Rail Trail between 6:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. to celebrate bike commuting with the City and its partners. Representatives with the San Diego Association of Governments (SANDAG), food delivery company Imperfect Produce and mobility company Gotcha will be joining the City to hand out snacks, giveaways, water and bike commuting information to riders. Gotcha e-bikes and e-tricycles will also be on hand for visitors to try out.

Bike to Work Day is an annual event held during Bike Month (May) across the United States and around the world to promote cycling and active transportation.
