    The Cultural Arts Division hosts a diverse range of concerts during the year. Ranging from Classical music to contemporary, these concerts bring the community together across different venues throughout the City.

    FREE CONCERT

    Darius is a singer-songwriter, guitarist, and poet. He’s released twelve albums under various artist and band names, performed at venues such as the Bitter End, Troubadour, Speakeasy, and L.A.’s Shrine Auditorium. He’s opened shows for Don McLean, Lucinda Williams, Guy Clark, and many others. His songs and videos have aired on radio and MTV, and he played sitar on Warren Zevon’s song “Bad Karma” along with the members of REM. He’s been nominated three times for San Diego Music Awards and twice been included on San Diego Homegrown Albums. His most recent work is a return to his folksinger roots. The album Open Question to the Sky was released in March, 2024.
