Encinitas, CA – The Encinitas Fire Department invites residents to come learn more about fire safety and what it takes to protect homes and businesses from devastating fires during their annual Open House on Saturday, Oct. 12 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Fire Station #5 located at 540 Balour Drive in Encinitas.

The Encinitas Fire Department Open House coincides with National Fire Prevention Week which runs this year from October 6 – 12.

The Open House event is a fun and educational experience for the whole family, featuring station tours, equipment displays, face painting, free food/drinks, and an appearance by Sparky the Fire Dog.
