New Hours and Innovative One-Stop Shop Customer Service Center Coming to City Hall

Encinitas, CA – To better serve our residents and customers, the City of Encinitas has created an innovative new approach to serving the community. Its new One-Stop Shop Customer Service Center will be open five days a week to provide customers with many key services on the alternate Fridays when City Hall and San Dieguito Water District offices are closed.

Customers will now be able to pick up and pay for regulatory permits; receive planning, engineering, fire prevention, and building services; and pay their San Dieguito Water District bills at the City's new One-Stop Shop Customer Service Center located at the Development Services Counter (north entrance off the main courtyard) at 505 S. Vulcan Avenue.

The City's new regular hours will be 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with alternating Fridays closed except for the One-Stop Shop Customer Service Center. City Hall, Public Works and San Dieguito Water District offices will continue to be closed on alternating Fridays.

Residents and customers can also access many of the City's services online 24/7 using the Customer Self Service (CSS) portal found on the City's website.

Located along six miles of Pacific Ocean coastline in northern San Diego County, Encinitas has an approximate population of 63,000 and is characterized by coastal beaches, cliffs, flat-topped coastal areas, steep mesa bluffs and rolling hills. The city was incorporated in 1986, drawing together the communities of New Encinitas, Old Encinitas, Cardiff-by-the-Sea, Olivenhain and Leucadia.
