Arbor Day Event

The City of Encinitas will host the annual Arbor Day event at the Encinitas Community Park on Saturday, April 8, 2017 from 8:30am-12:00pm located at 425 Santa Fe Drive, Encinitas, CA. 92024.

Volunteers are needed to help plant a variety of 5 gallon & 15 gallon trees in the park.    Volunteers who participate will have a great opportunity to learn how to plant trees and their benefits.

Booths featuring valuable tree care information will also be at the event and free give-a-ways.

Featured agencies include:   City of Encinitas Parks and Public Works Department's, West Coast Arborist, San Diego Gas & Electric,  Davey’s Tree & Resource Group & Tree San Diego.  The City is also inviting our local nursery’s to participate and share their wealth of knowledge on tree benefits.

Volunteers must wear closed-toed shoes, bring along your sunscreen, hat & water bottle.

Tools & equipment will be provided.

Light refreshments will be serviced. 

Waiver must be signed by each volunteer.
