Annual Fourth Grade Water Awareness Poster Contest

Every year fourth grade students residing in or attending school within our District are invited to participate in the North County Water Agencies' Water Awareness Poster Contest. The contest promotes awareness of water resources and the importance of water conservation. The top three artists receive prizes, recognition in the press and through District social media channels, and are invited to be recognized by the City Council and District Board. The water agencies then vote on which poster will appear on the cover of the following year's calendar. Calendars are distributed at civic buildings including the District offices, City Hall, and the Encinitas Library.

The contest theme is "Love Water, Save Water." Entries are judged on best expression of the theme, poster design, creativity and artistic skill. One entry per student. All entries must be received by April 4, 2022.
