As a part of their regular service, EDCO provides residential customers with three types of roll-out carts: recycling (blue), yard/green waste (green), and landfill (gray). Residents can choose between the following sizes: 35-gallon container or 95-gallon container. Additional containers are available at an additional charge. Starting in Summer 2021, EDCO began offering food scraps recycling to residents via the green waste bin” Residential organics recycling, including food scraps, is now mandated by law in California under SB1383.
