The Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program is a federal housing and community development program administered by the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). The City of Encinitas is an entitlement jurisdiction, which means the City receives a CDBG grant annually to assist with housing and community development activities.

The draft FY 2020-21 Consolidated Annual Performance and Evaluation Report (CAPER) to the FY is available for public review and comment from August 20, 2021-September 20, 2021.

The City Council will consider approval of the draft FY 2020-21 CAPER at a public meeting on Wednesday, September 22, 2021, at 6pm. Members of the public may provide comments on the plan at that meeting, which will be held in a virtual setting.
