Summer Programs and Camps 2021 - The City of Encinitas is offering summer programs and camps that align with County and State COVID-19 guidelines.  The health and safety of participants will continue to be our main focus.  Registration for Residents will begin April 19 and Non-Resident Registration will begin on April 21.  

Junior Lifeguards - Currently the City is finalizing details of the Junior Lifeguard Program and is not taking registration at this time. More information will be available on the Junior Lifeguard Program webpage as it becomes available.  To subscribe to alerts, please visit https://encinitasca.gov/Home/City-Updates enter your email and select Junior Lifeguard Program Updates.

Parks, Recreation & Cultural Arts Guide 

The Parks, Recreation and Cultural Arts Department offers great in-person and virtual classes this spring and summer. Below you will find the brand new Summer Camps and Programs Guide as well as the current March - April and May - June Guides.  Registration for Summer Camps and programs begins Monday, April 19 for Encinitas Residents and April 19 for non-residents.

Instructors leading in-person programs are eager to offer enjoyable and enriching programs at our top-notch parks and facilities, while making health and safety a priority. Click here for COVID-19 related program information and health guidelines. Your Encinitas Parks, Recreation and Cultural Arts Department doesn’t end with great camps and classes, the Department also maintains and operates 6 miles of beaches, more than 20 parks , over 40 miles of recreational trails and the beautiful Encinitas Community & Senior Center.
