The Redwood Trio aims to bring a fresh perspective to the concert stage in performing both traditional repertoire and lesser-known works for the combination of piano, violin, and cello. Violinist Lauren Basney and pianist Byron Chow have been friends and frequent collaborators for over a decade since attending a festival in Orvieto, Italy, and they are complemented by cellist Peter Ko to form a group that comprises a range of backgrounds in musical education.
