Cellist Paul Tseng and pianist Justin Hansen have collaborated since 2022 as founding members of the Logos Trio, then as a duo recital team. They perform engaging programs that cover a wide variety of genres ranging from classical music to show tunes and cinematic soundtracks. Committed to bringing great music for cello and piano to all audiences, they have performed on the stages of The Baker-Baum Concert Hall (The Conrad Prebys Performing Arts Center, La Jolla) to salon concerts in the homes of music patrons, as well as for various community libraries and musical organizations.

Paul received a bachelor’s and master’s degree from Juilliard and is the second cellist in the history of Johns Hopkins University to receive a doctorate from its Peabody Institute of Music. He has performed as a soloist with orchestras in South Africa, Egypt, Israel, and Jordan as well as in Canada. As a chamber musician, he has performed throughout the East and West Coast of the US. He has served on college and precollege faculties and held principal cellist positions with orchestras in New York, Maryland, and West Virginia. Paul is the artistic director of the San Diego Music Society and serves on the worship band at Maranatha Chapel in San Diego.

Pianist, composer, and teacher Justin Hansen earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Piano Performance from Utah Tech University located in his hometown, St. George, UT.
