The City of Encinitas recently adopted new requirements in the Green Building Ordinance. All new single-family homes, duplexes, and townhomes where dwelling units are 1,500 square feet or more and all low-rise multifamily (less than 4 habitable stories) projects must meet higher energy performance standards.  

Please join us for one of two in-person trainings to learn about the new energy performance requirements as well as other building related Reach Codes adopted by the City in the Green Building Ordinance. We will discuss how to comply with the code, answer your questions, and have vendors on hand for further assistance. Lunch and dinner will be provided!
