The Memphis Soul Revue is comprised of 11 professional musicians who share a love for the Memphis Soul sound. The shimmering sultry style of Memphis Soul was produced in the 60s and 70s at Stax Records and Hi Records in Memphis, Tennessee. The music features melodic unison horn lines, organ, guitar, bass, driving percussion, and sultry vocals with harmonious back-ups. Memphis Soul musicians include songs by Al Green, Eddie Floyd, Otis Redding, Sam & Dave, and Aretha Franklin.
