Community Ofrenda: At the heart of our celebration, we invite you to participate in our community ofrenda. Attendees are encouraged to bring photos to honor their departed loved ones. Items will be added to create a collective tribute filled with celebration and remembrance.

Featured Performer: Ballet Folklórico

 Experience the beauty and energy of Ballet Folklórico, as their colorful and traditional dance pays homage to Mexican heritage, setting the tone for this festive day of remembrance.

 

INTERACTIVE ACTIVITIES

Fabric Marigold Making: Craft your own marigold, the flower symbolizing the spirit of the departed, with guidance from a talented teacher from the Pacific View Arts Center.

Calaveras Literarias: Get creative and write your own whimsical, poetic tribute to loved ones passed with a local poet who will help you capture the essence of calaveras literarias—a beloved Mexican literary tradition.

Calaveras Decorating: Decorate sugar skulls in the traditional style and add your personal touch to this iconic symbol of Día de los Muertos.
