The City of Encinitas is announcing Temporary Commercial Use Permits are available in response to the State of California direction for houses of worship and fitness facilities to cease indoor activities. These permits are available on a first come first served basis for religious services and fitness classes or other similar types of activities in outdoor recreational areas.

Eligibility

• Encinitas-based houses of worship (zip codes 92024 and 92007).
• Encinitas-based fitness-oriented organizations with a current City of Encinitas business registration (zip codes 92024 and 92007).
• We welcome religious services and fitness classes or other similar types of activities.
• Please remember that food service, potlucks, family-style eating and drinking events, or alcohol are not permitted per the County of San Diego.
