The Land Development Engineering Division is responsible for field inspections, administration of the floodplain, reviewing and approving grading plans, improvement plans, subdivision maps, lot line adjustments, and issuing grading, right-of-way, and haul route permits.

The Land Development Division is responsible for maintaining and upholding the City’s Standard Design Specifications, Management Plans and Maps, to ensure private development projects and activities in the public right-of-way meet all City zoning standards, plans, policies, ordinances, guidelines, and applicable local and state regulations. 

All City applications for Planning, Building, Engineering, Fire, Regulatory Permits and Special Events are available via the Customer Self Service (CSS) portal.
